Finance Committee supports the commitment credits for the Bilateral Agreements III

The committee prepared a co-report on the commitment credits requested by the Federal Council as part of the Bilateral Agreements III (26.023 s), totalling around 3.48 billion francs for the years 2030 to 2036. A clear majority proposes following the Federal Council and the Council of States.

The co-report covers the cohesion contribution (Federal Decree 6), the commitment credit for migration (Federal Decree 7), the one-off additional financial commitment in the area of cohesion (Federal Decree 8) and the commitment credit for Erasmus+ (Federal Decree 9). It is addressed to the National Council Foreign Affairs Committee (FAC-N) and the National Council. The individual commitments under Federal Decrees 6 to 8 may be entered into from 1 January 2030 to 31 December 2036.
