The submitted question text states: «Das Eidgenössische Institut für geistiges Eigentum (IGE) hat im März 2026 die Praxis bei swissness geändert. Seither darf das Schweizerkreuz auch für Angaben wie «Swiss Design» oder «Swiss Engineering» verwendet werden, selbst wenn die Herstellung vollständig im Ausland erfolgt. Der starke Franken und die hohen US-Zölle seien Gründe für diese Anpassung. - Wird hier der Produktionsstandort Schweiz absichtlich geschwächt? - Was sagt der Bundesrat zu den Bedenken der Schweizer Unternehmungen?» (Translation: «In March 2026, the Federal Institute of Intellectual Property (IPI) changed its practice regarding swissness.
