Cybersecurity evidence: extend and expand relief for very small series
Under Article 4 paragraph 3 TGV, Swiss manufacturers of no more than five vehicles of the same type per year are exempt from type approval. For these vehicles, FEDRO has granted relief regarding evidence of protection against cyberattacks, but only for passenger cars, delivery vans and light trucks, and only until 1.1.2027. Is the Federal Council prepared to extend it to trucks and buses and prolong it, provided equivalent protection remains assured and only the formal evidence is waived?
