Matter 26.7663: Lack of balance in the exhibition «Sexarbeit» (sex work) at the Swiss National Museum
The Federal Act on Museums and Collections of the Confederation (Museums Act, MAC) requires the Swiss National Museum to provide an objective, diverse and balanced presentation of social realities. How does the Federal Council assess the compatibility of the exhibition «Sexarbeit» (sex work), given that it apparently represents exclusively the perspectives of organisations that regard prostitution as self-determined «Sexarbeit» (sex work), while the perspectives of survivors and their experiences of violence, coercion and exploitation are absent?
