Item 26.7706: Legal basis for robotaxis
According to a newspaper article, FEDRO is open to applications for robotaxis. Any legislative adjustments needed for their operation would be only selective. The Road Traffic Act regulates the use cases of car parks, a motorway pilot and journeys on routes approved by the authorities. On what legal basis would the authorisation of automated taxis rest?
