Correction to item 2.1 – Customs privileges for consular officials
Foreign career consular officials holding a KD identity card (with blue stripe) are not entitled to duty-free import of goods using Form 14.60. Exception: initial setup upon taking up official duties under Art. 20 SR 631.144.
Clarification of item 3.1 – Travellers' traffic
Item 3.1 Clarification on travellers' traffic: goods carried in excess of the duty-free allowances. Only holders of a Type B identity card may import all goods (NZE excepted) duty-free and without formalities in travellers' traffic. For all other identity card holders, the provisions under point 3 of the table published under item 3.1 apply.
