The British government warns, in view of developments in the occupied West Bank, of «ethnischen Säuberungen» (ethnic cleansing) and the end of the two-state solution. 1. Does the Federal Council share the British government’s assessment that «ethnischen Säuberungen» (ethnic cleansing) through «Siedler-Terror» (settler terror) are taking place in the West Bank? 2. Does it share its assessment that illegal settlement expansion effectively makes the two-state solution impossible unless it is stopped now?
