26.7639 – E-scooters: automatically switch on lights for greater safety?
According to FEDRO road traffic accident statistics, 911 accidents involving e-scooters were recorded in 2025, 26% more than in the previous year. How does the Federal Council assess a requirement that the lights switch on automatically when the vehicle is put into operation?
