26.7751 – Sanctions evasion by EMS-Chemie subsidiary Eftec?

According to a “Republik” (Republic) investigation dated 04.09.2026, Eftec AG (EMS-Chemie Group) supplies sanctioned arms companies such as Kamaz, UAZ, GAZ and AvtoVAZ from its Russian plants – allegedly by circumventing sanctions. In 2024, Kamaz specifically ordered a speciality product manufactured exclusively by Eftec. Has the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) examined this or was it aware of it? If so: with what result? If not: will it conduct an investigation?
