Question 26.7788: New payment methods disproportionately disadvantage part of the population
Federal Councillor Rösti said in the Council of States on 10.6.24, during the consideration of the Weichelt motion 23.4276: “Die Transportunternehmen müssen sicherstellen, dass Menschen, die nur mit Bargeld zahlen können oder wollen, nicht unverhältnismässig benachteiligt werden.” (Transport companies must ensure that people who can or wish to pay only in cash are not disproportionately disadvantaged.)
