Committee to examine Eastern Swiss road projects under the Federal Council proposal «Verkehr 45» (“Mobility 45”)
The Committee on Transport and Telecommunications of the Council of States (CTT-S) conducted a preliminary examination of five Eastern Swiss cantonal initiatives because of the deadlines. It formally decided to give follow-up to the cantonal initiatives and thus referred them to its sister committee for preliminary examination. Next year, as part of deliberations on the Federal Council proposal «Verkehr ’45» (“Mobility 45”), the committee will conduct substantive deliberations on the transport projects, place them in a national context and consider them as a whole.
