Under the Federal Act on Radio and Television (RTVA), the Federal Council may appoint up to one quarter of the members of the SRG Board of Directors. The nine-member Board of Directors comprises the chairs of the four regional companies, three members elected by the Assembly of Delegates and two federal representatives. Laurent Favre will take up the post on 1 April 2027. Together with Hans-Ueli Vogt, he will represent the Confederation’s interests on the board.
