The gender pay gap continued to narrow in 2024
Across the economy as a whole, the pay gap between women and men continues to narrow. It fell from 16.2% in 2022 to 15.7% in 2024. This is shown by the detailed report «Analysis of pay gaps between women and men based on the Swiss Earnings Structure Survey (ESS) 2024», which is based on ESS data from the Federal Statistical Office (FSO).
