Seasonal workers in tourism: housing costs are the biggest challenge
Seasonal workers are indispensable to tourism. However, they can only work where suitable housing is available to them. A study by the University of Lausanne, commissioned by the Federal Office for Housing (FOH), examines the housing situation from the perspective of seasonal workers for the first time. It shows that housing costs are their biggest problem in the area of housing.
