Health insurance premiums know only one direction: upwards. In a few weeks, the premium increase for the coming year 2027 will be communicated. It is expected to rise by 5 per cent; within 12 years, they could therefore double. Tackling the causes: could growth not be curbed, or premiums even reduced, if only major risks such as operations and expensive therapies were insured?
