F-35A fixed price: Federal Council adopts its response to the National Council Control Committee’s report
At its meeting on 21 October 2026, the Federal Council adopted its response to the report «Fixpreis F-35A» by the National Council Control Committee. It accepts six of the seven recommendations in full and one in part; some have already been implemented. The Federal Department of Defence, Civil Protection and Sport (DDPS) has already initiated improvements to the procurement process in the past or is examining further measures. The focus is on improved cooperation with Parliament, improved risk management and greater transparency in major armament procurements.
